1. Text messaging is charged at 50p plus your usual service provider text rate. This is usually between 10p and 12p. Please check with the bill payer before texting.
2. You may enter as many times as you like via text message. Prizes are limited to one holiday, one party pack and one ringtone per participant.
3. Additional marketing messages may be sent to you during the promotion from Tropicana. This will be based on the information you give us on the website or by post. We will not disclose your information to any third parties. If you wish to unsubscribe from these messages please text STOP to 07765 436 792 or send an email to help@tropicarnival.co.uk and include your mobile number and email address and we will remove your details from the marketing database. This will not affect your chances of winning.
4. No purchase necessary. To enter with an equal chance of winning send your name and address on a plain piece of paper to: Tropicarnival 2004, Dept BP010, PO Box 4, Ludlow, SYB 1YB. One application per stamped addressed envelope. If you are a winner we will notify you within 28 days.
5. Entries will not be accepted from third parties or agents.
6. Closing date for entries is midnight 20/11/04.
7. This promotion is open to UK residents aged 16 years and over, excluding employees and their families, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

9. Winning participants should keep their text message as proof of receipt. Winners of carnival holidays and Party Packs will be contacted by telephone to confirm details of their prize and verify details.
10. Winners may be asked to take part in publicity.
11. For a list of holiday and party pack winners send a stamped addressed envelope to Tropicarnival promotion, c/o Toucan, Merton Abbey Mills, Watermill Way, London, SW19 2RD or visit www.tropicarnival.co.uk in December 2004.
12. No correspondence will be entered into.
13. The prizes are:

• One holiday to New Orleans Mardi Gras (February)- for 2 adults and 2 children, includes return flights from London to New Orleans, return transfers in New Orleans from airport to the hotel, 5 nights first class accommodation sharing a family room, daily breakfast & comprehensive travel insurance. Excludes other meals and transport to and from the winners home and London airport.
• One holiday to Santiago de Cuba (July)- for 2 adults and 2 children, includes return flights from London to Havana, return transfers in Havana to the hotel, 7 nights 1st class accommodation sharing a family room, all inclusive meals and drinks, taxi transfers from hotel to Santiago de Cuba & comprehensive travel insurance. Excludes transport to and from the winners home and London airport.
• One holiday to St Lucia carnival (July)- for 2 adults and 2 children, includes flights from London to St Lucia, return transfers in St Lucia from airport to the hotel. 7 nights 1st class accommodation sharing a family room, daily breakfast, taxi transfers from the hotel to St Lucia Carnival. Excludes other meals and transport to and from the winners home and the London airport.
• One holiday to the Rio carnival (February) for 2 adults and 2 children, includes flights from London to Rio de Janeiro, return transfers in Rio from the airport to the hotel, 6 nights superior first class hotel accommodation sharing a family room, daily breakfast & comprehensive travel insurance. Excludes other meals and transport to and from the winners home to the London airport.
• 5 Street party packs containing - £500 worth of drinks (no alcohol for under 18's), £1,000 worth of catering/music and pack of 50 party invites. The drinks will be supplied in the form of vouchers and the catering/music will be in the form of cheques to caterers & DJ/band as supplied to us by the winners. Invites will be printed with the party details and sent by post.
• 50,000 ring tones. There is choice of two and details of which phones each works on will be given before downloading. Winners of ringtones will be directed to a microsite where you can preview the ringtone and receive full instructions of how to claim. Only one ringtone winner per mobile number. Please also see separate ringtone winner terms and conditions.

14. Holidays are subject to availability and must be taken on the months specified by the end of 2005.
15. Children accompanying adults on the holiday prizes must be under 12 years of age on the return date of travel.
16. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by the promotional agent.
17. The promoter accepts no responsibility for hotels/tours/airlines etc. being withdrawn or amended. In the event of this, a suitable alternative will be offered.
18. Any amendments made by the prizewinner after their booking is confirmed will be subject to administration charges.
19. Passports and Visas are the responsibility and cost of the prizewinner.
20. Transport between home and the airport is the responsibility of the prizewinner.
21. Holiday bookings will be made through Protravel, 14 Bedford Street, Ampthill, Bedford. (Abta number: 50300). You will be given their details to contact in order to book your holiday dates and arrangements.
22. Entries that are lost are invalid.
23. There is no cash or other alternative in whole or part for any of the prizes.
24. Sending a text message is not proof of entry or receipt. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any messages, which are lost, delayed or which are unable to be sent because of lack of network coverage or reasons beyond its control.
25. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events arising beyond their control. The promoter is not responsible for any third party acts or omissions.
26. The decision of the promoter is final and binding in all matters.
27. The Tropicarnival profiles are for fun and we cannot be responsible for the accuracy of them to an individual's characteristics.

7 We accept no responsibility if You do not receive the Service for any of these reasons. These terms and conditions will not affect Your statutory rights.
8 In no event shall We be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, loss of income, data, or other information, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall our liability exceed the price paid for the Service.
9 We shall not be held liable for any liability resulting from the use of the Service outside the United Kingdom and You agree to indemnify Us for any loss or damage suffered by the Use as a result of the Service being used outside the United Kingdom.
10 In addition We will not be liable to You in any way for failures, defects or delays in the delivery of the Services which are caused by one or more of the following reasons:
10.1 You have provided an incorrect phone number or other incorrect information before ordering a Service.
10.2 Your phone does not support the Service.
10.3 Your message mail box is full and has no additional memory to receive the download.
10.4 Your phone is out of range or for some other reason can not be contacted.
10.5 You accidentally erase a Service provided to You.
10.6 You supply any material or instructions which are incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate, illegible or in the wrong form.
